QUICK FACTS

DEPARTURES & PRICES:

HIGHLIGHTS

Explore Hanoi's Old Quarter, set sail on Halong Bay, meet school kids in Hoi An, zoom down the slides at Dam Sen Water Park, eat with the locals in Ho Chi Minh City, explore the jungles and temples at Angkor Wat, experience the Bayon atop an elephant.

ITINERARY:

Slow-paced and picturesque, Hanoi is filled with temples, cafes, parks, tree-lined streets and glassy lakes. Early arrivals should get out and explore by cyclo or on foot and get a taste for French-influenced Asia. Take breakfast at KOTO Restaurant, roam the bustling streets of the Old Quarter and enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Set sail for an adventure on beautiful Halong Bay. Thousands of limestone peaks dot the turquoise water of the bay and there's plenty of time to explore the islands and their mysterious stalactite-encrusted caves. A night aboard the boat is a very special experience - fall asleep beneath the stars to the gentle lapping of waves against the hull.

Stop by China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to the ancient town of Hoi An. Meet some locals and learn about their lives, get some clothes tailored or head out on a bicycle to the beach.

Touch down in buzzing and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. A tasty local-style lunch awaits at the Ben Thanh Market, then take time to explore the winding streets. Scoot off with a cycle for some temple hopping, see the regal Jade Emperor Pagoda or shop up a storm.

Experience the richness of Khmer civilisation in the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Uncover a darker period in Cambodian history at S-21 and the Killing Fields.

The final destination is one of our most awe-inspiring. After travelling through rural Cambodia, join the locals for sunset at Angkor Wat. The following day, return to the massive temple complex to explore it in depth. There are several other temples to explore nearby. For one final adventure, climb onto elephants for a ride to the exotic ruins of the Bayon temple.
