ITINERARY:

Bok! Welcome to Croatia! Check-in to our centrally located 4-star hotel, then meet your fellow adventurers at 2PM, before we take a guided tour of Zagreb. This evening we'll break bread at an included welcome dinner within walking distance from the hotel.

Our day begins very early with a stop at Plitvice Lake National Park, which offers an awe-inspiring network of 16 lakes – all connected by cascading waterfalls. From there we’ll make our way to Split to board our private yacht – the MS Futura – then enjoy dinner onboard followed by a night-tour of the old city including Diocletian's Palace. We'll conclude with optional drinks at a nearby gay-welcoming bar.

After breakfast, we depart Split for Hvar. En route we’ll stop at Brač for a swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn beach). On arrival at Hvar we’ll head out for a guided tour followed by a free evening to explore. An optional dinner will be available.

An early departure brings us to the quaint island of Biševo, where the Blue Caves awaits providing the weather is in our favour. We then continue to the island of Vis, an isolated former Yugoslav naval base that captures the Mediterranean “as it once was”. Here, you can either pay to visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths, hit up the city museum or simply take in the free views of the beautiful Rustic Vill on the waterfront. Tonight we overnight in the port, with an included dinner on board our ship.

This morning we depart for Korčula – the birthplace of Marco Polo – and a favourite stop amongst Out Adventurers. We’ll have a swim stop and lunch along the way, and upon arrival we’ll enjoy a late afternoon walking tour. Since it’s only a short walk to the yacht from anywhere in the old town, we encourage you to explore the area and its charming shops, bars and restaurants.

Another morning, another beautiful swim stop. Then we enjoy lunch and another swim stop before arriving in Trstenik on the Pelješac peninsula. Here, we’ll head to a modern local winery that includes a tour of the grounds and cellar, followed by a luscious 3-course dinner paired with five pristine Croatian wines. Tonight we overnight in this quaint and charming town.

Today we depart early, cruising to the island of Mljet after we have a morning swim stop. Once in Mljet, we’ll join our local guide for a stroll through the famous salt lakes of Mljet National Park. This visit includes a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit an ancient monastery, an old abbey, and a church that dates back to the 12th century. If you’d like to get the blood flowing, you can also rent a kayak, bike or scooter to roam the park on your own. We’ll enjoy our Captain’s Dinner aboard the boat in either Polača or Pomena.

This morning we depart early for the world-famous Dubrovnik, cruising past the old city walls while enjoying lunch onboard. We’ll dock in the new port given the large size of our vessel, then transfer into town for a guided walking tour. This will be followed by a cable car ride up Srđ Mountain where we’ll soak up the scenic views of the Old City Walls and Elaphiti Islands. You’ll have some free time in town to wander, then we’ll meet at a central location for our gourmet Farewell Dinner at a fabulous rooftop restaurant.

This morning we bid farewell to our faithful yacht crew, and each other, as our adventure comes to an end. There are no activities planned, and we must disembark by 9AM. There will be a luggage storage option available for those with afternoon or evening flights, and we have a host hotel for those wishing to spend more time in this ancient city.

Croatia: Gay Dalmatia Cruise

This was my first time traveling as part of an organized, large group and it exceeded my expectations. Croatia is an incredibly beautiful country, especially once you reach the Adriatic (Dalmatian) Coast. Arid mountains, clear azure waters, big sky, sheltered coves and historic towns and villages. The landscape, the architecture, the history and the people, all wonderful. The pure joy of that experience, including the endless laughter shared among old friends and new, I will cherish forever. Kudos to Rob, OUT Adventures and our Croatian expert guide Livio. They were truly committed to ensuring that each and every person had the very best experience possible. Traveling by sea is most definitely the way to see Croatia. And I look forward to my next trip with OUT Adventures.

Seeing Croatia with OUT Adventures was awesome. A very diverse group of guys made every day interesting with different perspectives and insights. The scenery was amazing, the tour itinerary was perfect (not too much, not too little), and we hit all the major places to see along the Dalmatian Coast. Croatia is at a perfect point - great new infrastructure, growing appreciation of tourism service, wonderful history, and beautiful scenery. This was our 2nd trip and definitely one of many to come.

Croatia: Gay Dalmatia Cruise

What a great way to see you Croatia, meet new friends and all done with style & class!! It was one of my most memorable vacations ever. My favorite part of the trip; waking up each morning to an up front and close view of the Croatian coast line. The small towns/ villages, the mountains and the crystal clear Adriatic were simply amazing; every morning was more spectacular than the last. The city tours in the afternoons were always well organized and full of local history facts. A very big thanks to Rob and Out Adventures for organizing this truly awesome trip!! Great memories and met some really awesome guys. I can't wait for my next Out Adventure!!

Croatia: Gay Dalmatia Cruise

From initial contact to the follow up after returning from the trip, OUT Adventures delivered exceptional customer service and an overall stellar experience. Everyone they contract with also delivered as well, especially our fabulous tour guide, Livio, and the Katarina Line crew. Croatia is a stunningly beautiful country, free of over development despite being a major tourist destination. All of the places we stopped at had similar characteristics but their own distinct personality. Dubrovnik was the highlight for me, a true gem of a city. Another highlight was getting to know my fellow travelers. Was a little nervous going in as a single person not knowing anyone beforehand, but was really happy to meet such a diverse mix of friendly guys. Fantastic trip and would highly recommend.

This was hands down the best run, most relaxed and restorative holiday I've ever taken. At no time did I ever feel like I wasn't being looked after or needed to worry about anything. Truly exceptionally well planned and executed

Croatia: Gay Dalmatia Cruise

Croatia is a beautiful and vibrant country that has stoically overcome war and adapted quite well to a massive influx of tourists. The food was amazing. Every meal used fresh produce that was locally sourced and organic. My favorite meals were peppered with fresh herbs and Istrian truffles. Each new port city I visited had its own unique energy, and walking the narrow streets of these cities was both haunting and fascinating. I really enjoyed my free time swimming off the yacht, taking in the beauty of the Croatian coastline, and tasting the local cuisine. However, what made this trip even more memorable was all of the new friendships I made along the way
