With a little merengue in our hearts, we’ve expanded our repertoire of South American escapes into Colombia with this escape that delivers bustling cities, lush landscapes, and a tropical island. In terms of accommodations, we’ve definitely dialed things up for this journey. The hotels are chic, glamorous, and possibly fit for a future season of The White Lotus.

Hilton Hotel // BOGOTÁ

While the brand may be familiar, the hotel itself is unique and full of charm! Located in Zona G, the city’s busy financial district, the surrounding area is plentiful with both local and eclectic cuisine. The hotel features classic Hilton furnishings, but the real star is the rooftop sky terrace, where you can indulge in a cocktail while soaking up views of the surrounding city and nearby mountains.

Rooms feature Wi-Fi, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an in-suite safe. The spa-style shower is great for waking up or washing up after a long day of sightseeing.

Hotel Capellán de Getsemaní // Cartagena

We love all the hotels on this tour but this one is especially radiant. The influence of different cultures is evident by the Spanish colonial style exterior juxtaposed with an adorable French interior. Amenities include a restaurant, a rooftop bar & lounge, a chill-out area, and an outdoor pool.

Located just steps from the Walled City, the Historical Center, the Clock Tower, the Pegasus Pier, and the Plaza de la Trinidad, Hotel Capellán’s prime placement within the city makes it one of the most desirable spots to spend a few days.

This trip culminates in Medellín, AKA The City of Eternal Spring. It’s Colombia’s second-largest metropolis; a major centre of art and culture in the Andes Mountains. You can enjoy dinner with a private chef, take a guided city walking tour, or go for an optional salsa dancing lesson with a gay instructor. But it may be worth joining us just for the accommodations.

Landmark Hotel // MEDELLÍN

Landmark Hotel features a refined, yet comfortable style. Located in Manila, a traditional, yet trendy neighborhood in El Poblado, the property features a rooftop bool, hot tub and fitness centre. There is also a tasty on-site cafe called Smash which combines international flavours with the best Colombia has to offer.
