Hungary’s goulash may delight. And Slovenia’s snow-capped Alps may inspire. But it just might be the sublime accommodations we’ve booked on our Budapest & Slovenia gay tour you remember for years to come…. we said “might”.
For a visual preview of the luxurious accommodations, read on!
A Haute Hotel in Budapest
To kick-things off we’ve booked a historic hotel located right on UNESCO World Heritage ‘Andrássy Avenue’ — a grand boulevard overflowing with stylish shops, bustling restaurants and quaint cafes. The elegant interior, spacious rooms, exceptional bedding and world class service will have you feeling like Hungarian nobility. As an added bonus, the hotel is a short wander from the Hungarian State Opera House, St. Stephen’s Basilica and Budapest’s gay district.
‘Glamping’ in the Slovenian Alps
How does waking to freshly brewed coffee on the Julian Alps sound? Because that’s exactly what you’ll enjoy on our second stop: a ‘Glampsite’ near Vogul Mountain and Lake Bled. We’ll slumber in private A-frame huts, each made of Larch wood and outfitted with queen beds, private wood-fire hot tubs and chaise lounges. Even the communal bathrooms are worthy of your Instagram feed.
Our Luxurious Ljubljana Lodgings
To conclude our gorgeous gay getaway, we’ll luxuriate in one of Out Adventures’ favourite boutique hotels. The building itself is of historic significance and protected by the Institute for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia. A modern, minimalist design elevates the building and your experience. Meanwhile the central location is unparalleled, as are the views of Ljubljana Castle. Sensational service and a top notch breakfast will have you questioning if you can book “just one more night.”
